It’s my personal mission to capture these teen years and turn them into art you will treasure forever. My goal is to help your son look and feel amazing and have unshakable confidence in themselves. What sets me apart from other photographers?? As a boutique photographer I specialize in giving each and every client the ultimate custom experience coupled with luxury products. Since I am a FUMA parent I KNOW the best way to photograph your child's uniforms and it is likely I already know your cadet from all the time I spend on campus capturing cadet life. I am fortunate because I have already gained the trust of your child to take his portrait. 

Since I am located in Fork Union you have the choice of having your sons portraits done on the FUMA campus or at a location off campus in the Charlottesville or Richmond areas. I also travel anywhere in the U.S. upon request. You can do formal portraits in my studio or choose a more laid back outdoor setting. 

These are custom portraits - what that means>>> I will work with you and your son to create images that reflect their personality. I will help with you outfit selections and also provide personal shopping and styling. After the portrait session images are sent to my professional retoucher. When the images return we set your order appointment and I will meet with you in-person or virtually to help you select your favorite images and place your order of custom portrait products. 

I book a pre-determined number of sessions each year to allow the time needed to give that personal touch to each and every session. My goal is to capture your child in an authentic and effortless way, showcasing their style and personality. There is nothing more important than capturing the authenticity of each of my clients, each session is different because each client is unique. I pride myself on how each session naturally develops into something so personal resulting in images that truly represent who YOU are. My sessions are geared more toward marking this occasion with an experience that is memorable…. and to deliver luxury images that are not only beautiful but meaningful. 

A little about me...I am the oldest of 4 girls in my family, a wife to a former Marine, a mother to an amazing 16 year old boy and a graduate of East Carolina University GO PIRATES! I am originally from Chicago but spent most of my childhood living in North Carolina. Married my husband and lived in Pittsburgh PA until about 3 years ago when his job moved us here to Fork Union VA. I have a background in Law but left that profession when my son was born and shortly after took my hobby and turned it into a career and have not looked back. I have been a professional photographer since 2007. In 2014 I decided to specialize in Teens and High School seniors.
